Born in Rockford IL. Met my husband Ron at a science fiction convention. We met at a Christian fandom meeting and admired his "GT" shirt. Later we got custody of my nephew (my adopted brother Dale's son). After about 6 yrs of custody we were able to adopt him. Derrick is now 12 yrs old. We also have a dog Rocket and cat Sammy.

Hobbys include collecting toy robots. I have at least 200 robots of all sizes, most are reproductions as I can't afford the expensive guys from the 50s and 60s. Almost all do something as I'm not crazy about static models. As I love sci-fi I of course have quite a few books. It's dangerous for me to go into a bookstore.

Professionally I have been a histologist for over 25 years mostly in the Chicago suburbs. Currently working at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside CA. (I previously worked for 13 years at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield IL.)
